The LMC Work Experience Programme has been designed for students aiming to achieve a nationally recognised British qualification while gaining a valuable work experience in the UK.

LMC is an A-rated Education Sponsor under the UK Immigration law (Points-Based System). This means that all visa students can enrol and apply for an Adult Student visa with our Work Experience programme and any of our other courses.
LMC offers both paid and unpaid work placements on a full-time basis upon completion of the initial study period.
Paid Programme in Hospitality & Catering
Learn & Earn: Our Paid Programme in Hospitality & Catering will not only help you enhance your career within the industry but also provide you with a financial reward. Students will receive a salary while on work placement. The current salary rates follow the UK National Minimum Wage Regulations and students can expect to earn at least:
- £5.80 per hour for workers aged 22 years and older
- £4.83 per hour for workers aged 18-21 years inclusive
Paid Hospitality & Catering work placements are available in hotels, bars, restaurants, theme parks and other catering facilities throughout the UK. Accommodation is provided by the Host Company for the duration of the work placement at a cost.

Unpaid Professional Programme
LMC Unpaid Professional Porgramme offers students the unique opportunity to gain a UK work experience in their professional area. Unpaid work placements are available in the following professional areas: Marketing, Sales, Fashion, Finance, Public Relations, Law, Media and many others - please enquire about specific professional areas).
Starting Dates

Qualification awarded: NCFE Level 3 in Personal Effectiness at Work

- Unit 5 Communication skills required in the workplace

- Unit 8 Information Technology for employment
- Unit 9 Quality assurance procedures in the workplace
The Work Placement is independently and fully assessed as part of the course and is relevant to the qualification.
Enrolment Requirements
- Minimum age for enrolment: 18
- Minimum level of English required: Upper-Intermediate, IELTS 5.5 or its TOEIC equivalent.
