Work Experience: Instructions for Students For a student to be eligible for the Programmes they must: Have English of at least Upper Intermediate level. Please check Placement description for level of English required. Have some background in the field in which they wish to work. This can be educational and/or previous work experience. Be highly-motivated with a desire to improve their English skills within the context of a professional working environment

IMPORTANT: LMC must arrange your Placement before confirming your place on the Programme. Please read our Step-by-Step Guide for full details.

Sending the Application

We require the following documents to start the enrolment process. Please note that applications should be made a minimum of 6 weeks before the start of the Programme in order to avoid disappointment.
 
LMC English & Work Experience Enrolment Form
CV  and passport photo (as email attachment)
Letter of Motivation  (as email attachment)
 
In order to make a positive first impression with the employer it is far preferable to send documents in electronic form rather than by fax. Also note that CVs and Letters of Motivation must not be handwritten.

In order to ensure we can arrange the best possible Placement, please send the application early, especially during the peak summer season.  Please be advised that certain Placements (Law, Finance) are particularly popular and early booking is recommended.

Confirmation of the Work Experience

We will contact the student with all relevant details following receipt of all of the documentation and proceed with the application process outlined in the Step-by-Step Guide.
