You may become an employer through LMC and give an international dimension to your company! Here are some good reasons to become a Work Experience Employer: The benefits for the employer: Employ a skilled and motivated young person at low cost. Have the right person to work on a project. Give an international dimension to the company. Have access to different languages, which may help to export the business.
The students: - They are from all over the world.
- We require from them at least an intermediate level of English, depending on the position they would hold on the Placement.
- They have experience or qualifications in their chosen area.
- They need Placements from 12 weeks to nine months. They generally need a six-month or nine-month Placement if they work in the hospitality/catering industry.
- We only accept students with valid visas onto the Programme.
- They enrol throughout the year so we may find students to work for you at any time.
The cost for the employers: - LMC does not charge the Employer anything for arranging the work experience placement.
We have two kinds of Placements: - Unpaid Placements: The employer does not have to pay the student for the time he/she works for the company. However the employer may help financially with the cost of commuting and lunch if they choose to do so.
- Paid Placements: These Placements only take place in the hospitality industry. The students generally receive the minimum wage and some support in the form of food and board.
