The UK Border Agency carried out many changes in the last 12 months to the student visa system.


There are now two types of visa, the Student Visitor Visa (which is available up to 11 months) and the TIER4 student visa.


To be able to accept students under the TIER4 system schools have to be a Highly Trusted Sponsor on the the TIER4 register of sponsors and will have to be accredited by a UKBA approved body by the April 2012.

LMC is a Highly Trused Sponsor this also means that if you would like to change school and come and study with us you can do so immediately without having to wait for your visa.

To receive a Student Visitor Visa you have to study at a British Council, BAC or ASIC accredited school.
