One-to-One English lessons and Private Lessons in English

You can book one to one classes at any level and for as many hours as you wish. You can combine one-to-one lessons with any other course. Before you start your lessons, you will fill out a needs analysis form to give us as much information as possible about what you expect from your lessons. This will help your teacher plan a programme made just for you. Because it's just you and your teacher, you can choose exactly what you want to concentrate on - this could be anything from intensive work on pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, speaking or listening, to more specialised areas like business or social English or exam preparation. As well as improving your personal weaknesses, one to one means that the teacher gives you undivided attention and you work more intensively, resulting in much faster progress than in a normal class.

Although there are many private teachers offering classes, sometimes at very low prices, we strongly advise students to book private one to one classes with LMC. The advantages with choosing an LMC teacher are:

• Reliability. If your teacher is sick or otherwise unavailable, we can immediately arrange a replacement, without cancelling a class. If you are working towards an examination, you cannot postpone your exam because your teacher is sick
• Quality. British Council accredited. Highly Trusted Sponsor (UKBA list). Many years of experience. All teachers are guaranteed to have adequate qualifications.
• Focus: Your one to one teacher can discuss with you and/or your regular teacher your weaknesses, so the teacher can focus on what you need, saving time and money!
• Comfort. Our classes take place at  school, not inside a noisy pub or cafe and no potential risk of going into a house you do not know.
• No shortage of books and resources. As a College, we have a full range of books and resources, perhaps a better range then a private teacher can offer.

If you are already a student of LMC, please note that not all of our teachers provide one to one classes, and therefore we cannot guarantee to provide the teacher that you want. We usually advise that a private class is given by someone other than your regular teacher, although the teachers will discuss your individual requirements.
