This test is designed to be taken for the purpose of licensing or as a comprehensive test for determining proficiency level.

The results of this test can be used by the candidate or relevant organisations for the purpose of licensing or to determine the length of training and cost that may be required to reach the desired level. The results of this test will also reveal if there are any tailor-made training recommendations that may be of benefit to the candidate.

In this part of the test the candidate will be listening to an extended recording of a simulated R/T communications of a simulated busy international airspace.  Whilst listening to the recording the candidate will be taking notes of the content of the communications.  After the end of the recording, the candidate will give an oral report of the situations they heard (whilst referring to their written notes as required).
